Do yall use your legal or preferred name for non medical appointments?

Hey so I am still early in my transition (mtf 26) and I need to call a service person for AC repair. If they ask my name for it, do I say my preferred or legal considering I will probably be using my insurance which is my legal name. I just don’t want a problem with payment or anything confusing for them later on. TIA
