What level of bugs and critters is "normal" for NC?

I just moved into a new house, historic built in 40s but renovated. It's not the most humid or damp place I've lived in by far but the average indoor humidity since I moved 2 weeks ago is 65%. There are some gaps in the front and back doors that the landlord haphazardly applied an adhesive door sweep to. I am seeing at least one bug in my house daily. Today, it was a weird long fly crawling in my kitchen sink. I am spooked. Very clean, I don't leave food out, I take trash out every day, my drains are all clean. I think they are attracted to the house most at night because the lights are on. But I can't stop hyper focusing on the bugs!!! I hate them so much so I think I notice them more than other people.

TL:DR: I'm wondering what is "normal" amount of bugs for humid muggy summertime in NC, versus what is an issue.
