MOCX - Any way to edit the soldiers once in-game without using the character pool?

As the title states, is there any sort of barracks I can access for the MOCX squads to customize them without using the character pool? Doing a run utilising the cast of Red Vs Blue's Project Freelancer flashbacks, wanted to do MOCX based on the Charon Industries-aligned 'Insurrection' UNSC operators, but I don't want to fuck up the character pool I've set up.
