AMA: SWE in FAANG, 10 YOE

AMA: I see a lot of questions here from new folks on what to do in this age of AI, and I know there is a lot of uncertainty these days.

I am a software engineer at one of the FAANG companies in the US. I did my undergraduate degree here and started working at the company right after graduation, and have been here for approximately 10 years. I have managed to survive multiple rounds of layoffs purely due to the domain I work in (Not AI). I'm really passionate about computers and computer programs in general.
