Brake lights with iPedal?

I've had my Ioniq 5 for a couple of weeks now, and I've really loved using the iPedal for everyday driving. Does anyone know how the brake lights work with that? I mean, I assume they come on whenever I lift my foot off the accelerator. But sometimes I use the accelerator to ease up on the deceleration; so I'm still definitely slowing down, but I'm pressing the accelerator pedal. Will the brake lights still come on? I just don't want to get rear ended. 😂
