Is there a way for an android phone to read the sd card after repartition?

I've tried using my laptop to transfer my emummc backup (56gb) into my switch but it takes 13 hours and there's no guarantee that it'll stay processing cuz of this flimsy cable. Copying my backup from my switch to my phone only took less than 20 minutes. But now that I've just repartitioned my sd card to install android, my phone no longer reads my sd card? Is there a way for an android phone to read the sd card after repartition?
