Songs that add nothing

I was musing recently, and thoyght I'd share a potentially controversial opinion: Harvest Moon neither adds to or subtracts from the quality of Les Mis. It's not a bad song, but it's not a good song. It doesn't really add anything to the story or characters that we didn't already know, and it's never anyone's favourite. If anything it's a forgettable scene-filler that gives the costume and props people more time to prepare for Javert's suicide scene.

Do you agree or disagree? Is there a different song from Les Mis that you think is less impactful to the story?

What are some neutral or filler songs from other musicals that don't actually add anything to the story or chatacters?
