A bear is currently determining whether I have work. How's your week?

There's a bear roaming my city and now 94 schools are closed!

For the last couple of days a bear has been wandering through my city. The city closed all 94 elementary and junior high schools, but teachers still had to report to work. Now my morning routine consists of checking the weather, train delays, and the bear's latest location. This was not on my 2026 bingo card.

It's all over the news here (Japan). I wonder if you've seen it! 😆
