Best vegan popcorn toppings?

Hello r/vegan! I am a non-vegan coming here to ask advice from y'all about what your favorite vegan popcorn toppings are? My best friend's fiance is vegan, and he loves watching/going to the movies and having popcorn. They just went on a trip and he came back with fancy salt he was very excited to try on popcorn. (Asked him how it was, ultimately, "it tasted like salt". 😆)

So! It's his birthday next month, and I'd love to get him a little movie-themed gift with popcorn and some good seasonings/toppings - better than just fancy salt, haha.

What are some of y'all's favorite vegan popcorn toppings? I know most of them revolve around butter and cheese so they're out. Open to any suggestions you have! Thanks!!
