I saw many posts relating to “carb craze” binge eating before period and lack of appetite the day period starts. But has anyone figured out how to stop it?
I am crying right now because I’ve gained so much weight I have been trying to lose. I eat healthy work out take my supplements and during the first two weeks it’s always smooth. Once I enter luteal phase I become impulsive and food noise is so bad I end up spending fortune on food delivery and because of the brain fog I can’t even comprehend how much I eat. I’m talking 10000+ calories. I am literally slave to something I can’t control and lose myself and I just want to scream and cry and actually this is exactly what I’m doing right now.
Then first day of period arrives and my brain is quiet, I have self control.
I won’t be fucking taking antidepressants as my doctor prescribed for this because I don’t have other mental health issues. And have very bad experiences with ssris.
Also won’t get on contraception because too many of my friends didn’t realise how depressed they got on it until they stopped.
So my question is to those who managed it: how did you stop being a slave to your hormones?
