How Do You Know If Your Ex Is A Keeper?

We dated for two years, and I didn’t think we are a long-term match because of her temper (anger issues) and negative outlook to life.
Occasionally I wonder if I was too picky and these are challenges we can work through together, or am I right and need to leave her in my past?
