About Me

• Beliefs I am a leftist, an atheist, and I'm childfree.

• Hobbies: Writing is my passion. I use the experiences I've had playing tabletop RPGs to inform my creative process. I also follow hockey, and like computers and tech in general.

• Other: I've been going to therapy for 15 years on and off, I'm currently working on getting more active, and I have 3 cats you will absolutely receive too many pictures of.

About You

I would like someone who:

• Shares my political beliefs. I try to pretend Trumpers don't exist in my day-to-day — it's the only way to stay sane these days. I find that most women agree with me since, ya know, Trump is trying to take your rights away and all.

• Is from NC, or if not that, at least from North America. Anything further complicates things considerably.

• I find attractive, and who finds me attractive. As much as I wish it didn't, mutual attraction does matter — hence mentioning my height earlier. I don't mind dating someone taller or shorter, but I have proportions that are healthy for my height and I'd like to date someone who does too. Please be willing to share a photo early on.

• Likes voice calls and voice notes. I find text to be an awfully distant form of communication, and vastly prefer calls.

• Does not have or want children. It's not that I hate kids. It's that I want to be your favorite person, and if you're a parent, that spot will likely be occupied by your kid.

The Future

I've just graduated with a degree in a niche STEM field, and I hope to get accepted into grad school where I will do yet more research in a niche in that niche STEM field. Because of that, I'm going to be taking an internship in the fall, and will be gone for a bit. What that means for you and me is that this connection will likely be short or an FWB arrangement, unless you're willing to tough out long-distance for a bit. To be clear, when I get accepted into grad school, it might not be here (though here is the goal).
