Internal job search

Hi
I’m looking for internal job search and wanted to know what is the process like ? Are there some teams I should stay away from ? Also in the internal portal I see some teams where the photo isn’t available for some people and available for some in the same team, does it mean anything

Apologies if the questions are too much
Any advise would help
I’m currently working in USA and looking into switch within the country itself

TIA
