I have an 883 Sportster and recently did a stage 1 and I'm going to post some info which I hope could be beneficial to others.

**Air intake and crank case breather**

Went with the DK Customs external crankcase breather with the Vance & Hines VO2 eliminator. All VO2 air intakes have 2 small holes where the crank case breather hoses that come with the kit go. I plugged these up with some 3d printed TPU plugs. [Air Intake Plug](https://www.printables.com/model/1747804-vance-and-hines-vo2-air-intake-breather-plug) Added a drop of gorilla glue to make sure they stay put.

**Exhaust and wideband O2 sensor**

One of the biggest unknowns about the upgrade was whether or not the new O2 sensors were going to have enough clearance around the engine once the pipes were installed on the bike. From research I've seen others with different pipes having to modify the engine brackets in the front or having to attach O2 bungs in different areas. This exhaust with wideband O2 sensors ***will fit with no modifications***. Attached are reference pictures that show just how much bigger the wideband O2 sensors are as well as the clearance once installed.

Standing about 8 feet away from the bike, the 2 into 1 at ide hovers around \~84db while stock is \~77db. I made a short video comparing the sound of the Vance & Hines PCX 2 onto 1 with the Iron 883 stock exhaust [Exhaust comparison](https://youtu.be/S_JvLy-TojU)

**Tune and differences from stock**

I used the Iron 883 - High air flow intake with 2 into 1 exhaust tune that Dynojet has on their site, enabled Target Tune on that map and flashed the ECM with the PV-2B tuner. With the Target Tune module you skip the whole auto tune basic process since it will adjust real time to try to hit the AFR lamdas. So it was really nice to flash and immediately feel the change in engine response. It doesn't make the bike miraculously faster or super powerful but you can tell the engine isn't as sluggish as with the stock tune. I was skeptical about the entire process but once all the pieces came together that first ride afterwards was \*chefs kiss\*. Hopefully this info was useful if you are considering Target Tune, the Vance & Hines PCX 2 into 1, or a stage 1 in general.
