Feeling guilty for knowing but not knowing...
Hey all,
Just need to get something off my chest and vent a little bit about something that happened. I have (or should I say, suffer from?) Claircognizance and clairsentience.
I work for a non profit organization and I process applications for people to access our programs. There one this one name in our queue, belonging to a 17 year old young man, that kept catching my eye.
I kept thinking his name sounded familiar so I would often stop and glance at his name and think, here have I heard that last name before? Former client? Possibly delt with a family member of his? Its a mid sized city, so chances were high. But I couldn't quiet tell why I kept being drawn back to his name, it happened about 3 or 4 times.
And each of those 3 or 4 times, this thought kept randomly popping into my head "I wonder what the protocol is if an applicant passes away". I brushed it off and kept on with my work. I remember thinking after each of those times, why do I keep thinking that?
Then, this weekend, I came across a post on Facebook from a parent of the young man (we have no mutuals, it just showed up in my feed), he had unfortunately passed away in an accident over the weekend :(
Thinking back now, i feel like that random thought was a foretelling. Not like there was anything I could have realistically done to prevent anything if i knew or saw it coming... but I feel extra sad for this young man and his grieving family.
I feel strangely guilty that I sort of knew without knowing, or rather, just the fact that I kept thinking about the what ifs if our clients passed away when I would look at his name. It just feels yucky...
