Changed up the format this time around, hopefully this forecast eases some anxiety for everyone.

Some notes:

* my confidence in the accuracy of my forecast is very high through Saturday. my confidence drops a good bit for Sun/Mon - remember those days are still about a week out so the forecast will likely change
* there's currently a Flood Advisory for just about all of TN. It's in effect until 1pm Tuesday. This advisory is mostly based on the potential for urban street flooding (an issue in Nashville) and stream flooding (right along streams/rivers)
* the Flood Advisory is also more focused on flash flooding potential - not widespread, long duration flooding like what got us last year. flash floods develop quick, but the ground recovers quickly
* that being said, I expect the farm will be a bit damp upon arrival Wednesday, especially early in the day. There may be some muddy spots, but I don't anticipate any widespread issues
* Right now, friday looks like the best chance for lightning, but any rain/t-storms would be pop-ups. Best chance for these would be 4pm-8pm ish and then we look dry all night
* Sunday (remember the low confidence in accuracy here) looks like it could be rainier, especially late at night and overnight. The thunderstorm potential looks lower though. If I HAD to pick a time frame to be "worried" about - it would be Sunday night into Monday morning (but that's the last hurrah of roo anyway so like whatever, let's dance and cry in the rain!) Also, expected rain totals in this time frame are around 0.75" so it's not nothing, but it's also not a number that makes me nervous
* Humidity will be very high, temperatures are reasonably hot considering it's June in TN
* nighttime temperatures aren't too bad, but remember the humidity will probably make you feel colder

Okay hopefully that covered everything, this will be my last forecast update because my journey to the Farm starts Tuesday morning, but I'll still lurk in the comment sections until Wednesday morning. Once I'm on the Farm, I will be blissfully ignorant of the weather, social media, and the internet entirely (this is your sign to lock ur phone in the car and go no-screens this weekend ;))

My background, copy & pasted from previous posts in case this is the first you're seeing:

In the real world I'm a meteorologist, I've been forecasting for over 5 years and I have a degree in meteorology. I live in Wisconsin now, but I lived in Mississippi for most of my life so I'm well versed in how summer weather typically goes for that part of the country.

P.S. If you wanna connect on the farm, you can find me in Groop (look for tapestries of thicc gary the snail and Cartman as Buddha - and no I will not elaborate LOL)
