So i was scrolling through news on Facebook, and I came across this post and I thought huh well that's an interesting media read. So it looks like Microsoft and Xbox "accidentally" released a trailer for Gears Of War E-Day which had the Playstation 5 words on it indicating that the game was originally suppose to also come out on the platform this year so I dug into it for some news or more information

According to Jeff Grubb over on Bluesky, Gears Of War E-Days Playstation port was already finished as it was going to be releasing for the platform as well as Xbox and PC, but Xbox decided to pull the game from the platform at the last minute, making it only on Xbox🫩

The trailer has been removed by Xbox already, it was first found by fans on ResertEra and youtube before it was immediately taken down.

I hate console warring, and I have to say its a pretty awful thing to do for customers who just got into the IP through the Reloaded release, by removing access to the Prequel. Yes you can buy a pc or Xbox, but the two are very expensive in today's market, and if you live in Canada like I do PCs are stupidly expensive and a new game thats marked 79 is actually 89.99 and after taxes its basically 100$ for a standard new game.
