Finally passed on my 8th attempt!
Finally, we won!
Passed today on my 8th attempt with 3 minor after 7 failures. Honestly, there were times when I genuinely thought it was never going to happen. I'm even so happy as my theory was gonna expire end of this week!
The first 3 tests were a disaster. Multiple serious faults, lots of nerves, and I simply wasn't ready. After that, things got better. My driving improved massively and the next few tests were all close failures. Every time it seemed like I was right there, but one serious fault would end it.
The hardest part wasn't even the test itself. It was waiting months for another test after each failure, rebuilding confidence, and trying not to overthink everything. At one point I felt like I was fighting myself more than I was fighting the road. But somehow I kept going.
Today, on attempt number 8, I finally heard the words: "Congratulations, you've passed."
To anyone who keeps failing and thinks they're not good enough, please don't give up. Some people pass first time, some people take longer. It doesn't mean you're a bad driver. Keep learning from each test, work on your weak points, and keep showing up.
A big thank you to everyone here who shared advice, experiences, and encouragement. Reading other people's stories genuinely helped me through some difficult moments.
Good luck to everyone still waiting for your pass. Your turn will come.
