No entry report NCAT

We never got an entry condition report when we moved in, and we were clueless first-time renters and didn't take our own photos. When we left, they claimed the place "stank" and refused our offer to hire cleaners, insisting on using theirs. After their cleaners went in, they suddenly claimed we broke the curtains. Our exit photos don't catch the angle to prove they were fine. They asked for one grand to fix everything.

When we asked for the entry report, they just emailed back: "The entry report would have been sent to you at the beginning of the tenancy."

I claimed the bond online, so they applied to NCAT. Their evidence bundle has an entry report dated from our move-in, and an exit report dated yesterday. Except new tenants have lived there for two months already, and this exit report shows the house completely empty. Even if the date is somehow correct, doing an exit report three months after we vacated is ridiculous. Hence we suspect the entry report's dates were altered too.

They included all our email conversations and there was zero proof of delivery or a signature from us for the entry report.

I just told NCAT I never received the entry report. Is that enough for my evidence bundle?

Also, lesson learnt, never renting without taking thousands of photos again.
