Newish nudist

I've been a curious nudist for a while but I live in Los Angeles so not much places I can be nude at except my room haha. Wish I could find some friends so that I'm more comfortable to do that in public. So my question is, is there anyone that knows where I can go thats close to LA thats a nudist resort or beach?
