TvOS 27 and Apple TV 4K 1st gen

Has anyone tried to install TvOS 27 on the 1st gen Apple TV 4K? I have seen articles saying only gen 2 and gen 3 are supported, and others that say that gen 1 will be supported.

Based on what TvOS 26 looks like on the 1st gen, obviously some of the UI improvements wouldn’t be there.

Please don’t quote articles to me. Apple has already come out and said that the Watch 9 will be supported, so what’s been published could be wrong.
