New to eldar, tips for flying bases

Hey hey! I'm starting a corsairs army. 40k vet this will my 4th army. So flying bases how are we handling them they are not great, at least how I understand. Does anyone have any tips on reinforcing them for eldar tanks or replacements. I'm thinking a magnetic connection of some sort on a more sturdy base would be better, a clear stem on a oval base or something.
