Instagram account hacked could my PC be infected as well?

Today I woke up and discovered that my Instagram account had been sending a suspicious link to everyone in my DMs. As soon as I noticed it, I changed my password and enabled two-factor authentication on my Instagram account and every other Meta account I own.

What worries me is that I'm not sure if my Instagram account was the only thing that got compromised. I'm concerned that my PC might have been infected as well. I ran both a Windows Defender scan and a Malwarebytes scan, but neither found anything suspicious.

I'm still feeling pretty paranoid about it, especially because my PC seems a bit slower than usual, although that could just be me overthinking after what happened.

Is there a reliable way to check whether my computer has actually been compromised?
