Poco X8 Pro Max Charging Issue

I recently bought the new poco x8 pro max and I have charged it many times but whenever my phone's screen is off then it charges fast But when the screen is on and I charge the phone while using it normally, the phone does not charge at all, meaning it takes 20-30 minutes to get 1 or 2% charged. Is this normal or is there any problem?
