ill give everyone the TLDR here

she didnt want to live 20 mins from downtown and instead wanted to be IN downtown so she sold her condo. she said it would have been too weird for her to rent it to strangers and have them be in her space in the town house.

her grandpa's home: she was getting half of the money if they sold and her brother would get the other half, or she would have inherited the house and had to buy her brother's half out. either way she was getting something.

she didnt want a full family house to renovate herself in the same neighborhood as her current condo unless she was in a relationship and her and bf could move into the house.

either way, she got free money from her grandparent's house sale and what she wanted, to be downtown...
