Phone Gone, Money Gone

Rant

Still no words.
Phone got stolen outside KOKO (Camden) at around 3AM this weeked. Not drunk, just out for a walk after the bar with a friend of mine. Someone (who approached nicely and alone) asked if he could check out something on my phone. I said yes, they did, and gave the phone back nicely. What I did not realize is that during the conversation, 3 other hooded men encircled us and one of them quickly snatched the my phone and just ran, while the others sorta "pinned" us down and warned "he'll kill you if you go after him".
Next day I found out my bank accounts were stolen. Several thousands in bitcoin and even a loan of several K's was made on my behalf and some of it was withdrawn. My main bank blocked the account after seeing several withdrawals and an order in Uber Eats worth over 1K.

Honestly this was not what I expected of London as a European turist. The city is unrecognizable and this situation just "confirmed" the disgusting society it is breading. Any simmilar situations have happened to you? Is this the new normal?

Police couldn't do anything (as usual everywhere in Europe right now). Sorry about the rant, please Londoners let me know your experiences and if this was a one-off.

Best,
