Why are people so deeply enraged by littering?

I have the type of neurodivergence where emotions are hard, and even though I can see the logic and don’t litter, the emotions aren’t there for me. But they seem to be there for everyone else. A lot.

I want to know why people feel that way. Feeling emotions is easier when I know why.
