Any experience flying out of TIJ

Thinking about getting the pass for spontaneous weekend trips from TIJ to SJD, PVR, MEX and CUN (SJD being our most frequent destination). Any experience with TIJ departures/returns availability?

I assume you cannot check availability for flights until after you buy the pass?
