Why do people rush into getting in relationship

Good evening everyone, I just want to get your opinion on this matter, recently I have been getting to know new people and new precepectives here in Reddit and in other apps, and one thing I have noticed that people don't take their times to ACTUALLY know you, I appreciate being direct and declaring from the beginning the intentions of getting in relationship with you and all, but introductions matters even if it takes time and energy.. what do y'all think and do you think there's like a reason behind this? Or a chapter I have skipped?
