Engineering and MacBook Neo

Hi!
I’m a aerospace engineering student and I need a laptop. I have a really good AMD desktop computer and a Samsung tab s8, but I’m outside a lot of hours a day and I’d like to have something to read pdfs and do some work (I work selling things online in my small business, nothing too stressful for the laptop). But, if I spend some money I’d like to be able to use it for uni (to 3d model lol).

I was wondering if you can run Autocad/Solidworks on the MacBook Neo, or what’s the limitation you have. I don’t need to open 100 tabs, I just need it not to shut down while I use it lol.
