I need a Queer Eye!

I’m coming out of a truly horrible period — deaths in the family that led to more tragedy, and homelessness and poverty for me — but it looks like I might be coming into some money soonish. My body has been changed by all I’ve been through, so none of my clothes fit, and I’ve had to wear what was cheapest for so long that I’m really intimidated by clothes shopping. I use a power wheelchair, which makes going to most clothing stores a serious pain. I haven’t really been able to choose what I wear for decades, and so don’t have a sense of what my personal style is anymore.

I think a personal shopper could really help, and when I have the funds for clothes, I think I should spring for one. I’d really like someone who will “get” me as a middle-aged female-looking Queer punk (who sometimes still has to look “professional” in business contexts), and who won’t be bothered by shopping being quite emotional for me — it’s a really big deal for me that I’m no longer homeless, and having options is both wonderful and overwhelming.

Any recommendations? I live in Nubian Square, but will travel for the right situation.
