There’s a new unit on the market for rent, and I wanted to give people a heads up about it because it does look great in pictures.

This building is renting a nearly renovated 2 bed 1 bath unit for $2000 (which is pretty high for what you get and for Albany Park).

Besides that, I just wanted to warn anyone applying to this place that 1 very large family occupies the other 2 units in the building. They’re always hanging out on the stoop (which I normally wouldn’t care about but there’s always 5+ people talking loudly), fixing cars in the driveway (with engines being revved every few minutes for hours), and yelling at each other in the back (which is just a big gravel pit). They leave garbage cans absolutely full of smelly trash sitting directly behind the building for weeks.

Also, anyone who lives on this block knows it’s not quiet. Between parties in the summer, cars revving their engines as they go by, and people having arguments directly in front of my building at all hours of the night, it’s not always peaceful.

If this is still worth $2000, feel free to apply. But just know it might feel like you’re moving into the house of a very chaotic family.
