Manual Lymphatic Drainage Experience?

Hi everyone, I was recently diagnosed with lipedema and as part of my treatment my doctor gave me a referral to get lymphatic drainage therapy done with a physical therapist. Has anyone found that they’ve gotten results from this? I can’t find a therapist near me that isn’t charging a ridiculous amount per session, and my doctor wrote me a prescription for a lympha press that I should be getting within a month. I was thinking I could maybe go without the lymphatic drainage therapy but I want to hear if anyone has had success going to a physical therapist and getting MLD done weekly
