I hope this studio never touches another Gothic title again

I have played the original G1 countless times but it’s time put the nostalgia goggles away.

As much as I was hyped about the remake, now reality is hitting… hard.

The Gothic Remake has missed the opportunity to win another generation of gamers.

Unfortunately I see countless shills praising obvious slop? Why? So they can ruin the G2 remake as well?

Why are some still defending this release when they clearly released a buggy mess, especially on consoles? Despite the visuals, this game is worse than the og version (runs perfectly stable with mods).

I won’t count the technical issues here but even in the original G1 the combat system is more fun than this weird, slow combat with unnatural moves. When you became a master in 1H combat in the og, you really felt the difference.

Sorry, as a Gothic fan, I refuse to praise this remake. May they never destroy another Gothic title again and a more competent studio gets it done.
