I hate drones?

After months of siege, I finally had enough medals to get some stuff. I heard drones were OP.. so I got the steel wing role and core. I hate it. I can’t figure out how to actually make them viable at all. Granted I don’t have any OP drone chips yet. Back to praying I can get lightning bomb bounce and continuous to drop before reseting and trying again.
