I built a tool to help people understand hidden health insurance clauses. Looking for honest feedback
Many people buy health insurance after talking to an agent, sales executive, or bank representative.
The problem is that most of us focus on:
Premium amount
Coverage amount
Cashless hospitals
But rarely look at:
Waiting periods
Co-payment clauses
Room rent limits
Disease-specific exclusions
Sub-limits
Claim conditions
I noticed that many people only discover these details when a claim is raised.
As a side project, I built a simple tool that analyzes health insurance policy documents and highlights important conditions in an easier-to-understand format.
The project is currently in the testing stage and I'm looking for genuine feedback from people who have purchased health insurance or dealt with claims.
I know the website currently uses a .xyz domain. This is only for the testing and validation phase. If users find value in the tool, I plan to move to a .com or .in domain later.
I'm not trying to sell anything. I'm mainly interested in understanding:
What policy details do you find most confusing?
What information would you like a tool like this to explain?
Have you ever been surprised by a policy condition during a claim?
Any feedback would be appreciated.
