How does the process with applying to a new upandcoming store work?

First time applicant here. There's a new location coming soon near where I live, but it's not going to be ready for another few months. I checked on the website to see if they were already posting positions for it and they were, so I went ahead and applied. Just a few questions though. What would the onboarding process be like since this location won't be available for a while? Do I get hired/taken in at a different store and do all of the paperwork and learn the ropes there? Also how long would it generally be before someone reaches out to me for a potential interview? Thanks.
