Safe operations during rail car offloading
I manager health and safety for several U.S. petroleum terminals. We have a terminal that receives ethanol by rail. I have terminal operations experience but none with rail. Our guys do a good job, but it is a hard job.
Does anyone have any experience or ideas on how to improve this operations from an ergonomics stand point? Offloading from the bottom, so guys are work from a supine position and using tools.
Being fairly new in this role, I want to tackle this concern from the guys on the ground, but not sure where to start.
Thanks in advance!
