Sheening ink and pen health

I have a strict policy of only putting wacky ink in cheap pens, and only putting ink in my expensive pens if i’m sure they’ll be ok. So i’ll never put a shimmerer in a pen worth more than a meal, and my pride and joy gets babied.

After a horrible incident with organucs studio nitrogen more or less painting my house, i have thought of sheening inks as equally risky. But i’ve been messing with endless alchemy poseidon’s reef in a cheap pen, and i think it would work great in my homo sapiens.

It looks like sheeners can be harder to clean. I don’t care about that. But anybody know if there are other concerns about mischief to the pen?
