Tail light spontaneously cracked?

I have a 25 q6. Our tail light seems to have cracked by itself. There's no impact point or scratch or even a smudge. And we don't wash the car really.

I'm wondering if it's a fitment issue and maybe it was caused by thermal expansion or something, especially since it's the first model year. Has anyone else had this issue?
