for a $750k budget movie, it was pretty amazing!

I don't think people give the movie enough credit for being able to compete with the other big blockbuster movie on literally nothing. You have things like the Devil Wears Prada shelling out millions in production, marketing, roll-out, but this movie got more people in movie theatre seats. The story line was also very unique, not another sequel, live-action, etc.

After watching the movie, when someone told me the budget, i didn't believe it. I mean, i didn't expect it to be Avengers End Game level of budget but i thought it would be at least like Rom Com level, but this was impressive.

New talent, great ROI, original story line, more people back in theatres, etc.

I hope this and Backroom serves as a wake up call for movies if they want theatres to come back. Like people about how a small director go this off the ground, but im more shocked at the quality he pulled off on such a small budget.
