Why the vendetta against carhartt here?

I've noticed that everytime i or someone else has mentioned carhartt here the post or comment is always downvoted, it's just a brand of work clothes if you don't know, i got like four downvotes for mentioning that i'd be surprised if i saw something wearing the real thing and not their fashion subbrand, and someone reccomended them to me a while back when i asked for comfy heritage workwear and they got downvoted too.

I don't care about fake internet points but it's just an odd thing to have a community vendetta against, it's not like it's football or something, or is it? portwest or dickies fanboys maybe?
