anyone running a python bot with ib_insync?

I feel like i’ve been running in circles for weeks trying to get the execution to work on paper. Trying to use a strategy that sets a limit order with a SL and TP attached. Really struggling to find resources online. still fairly new to this so would love if someone could point me in the right direction! I know my strategy is solid.

I started with top steps new API because I wanted to run this bot on some funded accounts but that ended up being super weirdly glitchy and couldn’t figure out how to get paper trades to execute so i switched to IB thinking the API would be more robust and give me an easier time. first time building an algo to trade with! but using a strategy i have been executing profitably manually for almost a year.
