I need a Macbook
I’m looking to buy my first MacBook and would love some advice from people already in the Apple ecosystem.
My current Windows laptop is getting pretty old. The battery doesn’t last very long anymore, and its performance has noticeably declined over the past few years. Since I use it every day for school, I’m starting to feel like it’s time for an upgrade.
One of the main reasons I’m considering a MacBook is because I want to take advantage of Apple’s exclusive software, such as Logic Pro, MainStage, Keynote, Pages, Pixelmator, and other apps that are well integrated into macOS. I’m also interested in expanding my Apple ecosystem and improving my overall productivity, especially for schoolwork, music production, presentations, and creative projects.
At the moment, I’m considering options such as the MacBook Air M2/M3 and some older MacBook Pro models, but I’m not sure which would be the best long-term choice.
For those of you who use a Mac for school, productivity, and music production:
Has it been worth it?
How much does the Apple ecosystem improve your workflow?
Which MacBook would you recommend for someone who wants a reliable machine for the next several years?
I’d appreciate any advice, experiences, or recommendations. Thanks!
