Injury……

I’m looking for advice. An incident occurred where someone has lied about something I said, they stated I said I got an xray when I never so my manager wants the xray proof due to an investigation of injury at work

I voiced that I never got xrayed and not once did I mention that I did. They have asked for proof of letters of admission/discharge from hospital or any forms of the incidents which my doctor raised eyebrows at but have agreed to print them off.

I was injured at work and now feel like I’m the one being investigated- I broke down in tears due to it this morning and have emailed my union.

But I’m just wonder, has anyone else ever been in a situation of someone else’s lie? Because I’m terrified of being into trouble over something that I never said that had no proof of me even saying it just their words against mine but for some reason, they believe their words over me.

I’m so distraught
