Just started my loc journey yesterday any tips, or anything important I need to know

I had went with comb coils and asked for medium. Before this had been growing my hair for over 2.5 years and chopped it all of sometime early last year and since then just been leaving my hair alone and moisturizing and having it covered like 24/7 and recently I said fxck it and decided to start loc journey cant wait to see how they come out.
