I need help I really want to go back they just say no Tips?

I need tips on getting my parents to put me back in public school πŸ˜”

I've been homeschooled since 3rd grade, and now I'm in 9th grade. As I'm getting older, I'm realizing homeschooling is honestly really boring. What I mean by that is it's lonely.

I also feel like my relationship with my mom is getting worse because of it. We wake up, do school, and spend basically every day together. It feels like because we're around each other all the time, she gets frustrated more easily. Sometimes if I make one mistake, she'll start yelling at me for like 15 minutes.

Anyway, a while ago I talked to my mom in the car about going back to public school. She said there are too many drugs and crazy things happening there. I asked, "Do you not trust me?" and she said, "I do trust you, I just don't trust other people."

I told her I wanted to experience high school before it's too late. She said she understood and that she kind of wanted that for me too, but that it scares her. The conversation basically ended there.

About a month later, I brought it up again and got pretty much the same answerβ€”a no without actually saying no.

The next day I asked my dad. He shut the idea down pretty quickly, but he kept asking why I wanted to go. He said he could put me in more activities so I could make friends. The thing is, I don't just want to go for friends. I also want to experience things like basketball, clubs, drama classes, and just being around other people my age every day.

My dad kept asking questions, and I kept answering them. He still didn't agree, but I feel like I got through to him more than I did with my mom, if that makes sense.

My cousin told me she got into public school by just asking her parents every few days until they finally agreed. I'm thinking about doing that too.

Lately I've been getting frustrated because it feels like my parents immediately say no whenever I bring it up. Then they get upset when I seem annoyed, even though they know how strongly I feel about it.

So yeah, does anyone have advice on what I could do?
