All you 'Enthusiast' people, please don't update to 27.0 DB_1 for hopes of better performance.

Nothing but a fair reminder to not run beta software for non devs:3

Well, there is a reason they tell us to refrain from using beta software on main machines!

While nothing game breaking on iOS 27.0, Golden Gate (MacOS 27.0 DB_1) is a bit, eh unstable.

I have had issues with the keyboard randomly stop working, like at all, the external keyboard AND the macbook keyboard both don't work. [TouchID works for some reason!], the fix being to restart your computer or somehow switch apps.

ProMotion is not constant (all you performance is improved drastically over 26 so I love the beta!~ better than stable), 26.3 was running fine, 27 has random animation glitches, slowdowns, rendering bugs, you name it. No, betas aren't more stable than production software in most cases, and no this one isn't an exception.

Also, there are mentions of m1 macbook pros being bricked after updating.
Try to wait for a couple more dev betas :3
