Advice
I’m asking this question just to gain knowledge and help myself catch things soon. I’m not the best with relationships, I tend to be very cautious which tends to end most before they start. My last one lasted a year and 8 months and I thought it was going well. We very rarely argued and were pretty good at talking out things. He dumped me, it’s been some time but my brain keeps replaying certain things because it felt so out of the blue. He was very affectionate, planned dates, always wanting to help me(I work an emotionally drained job) and seemed very engaged. When he dumped me he said he felt pressured to say I love you at first. His reason for dumping me , he wanted to work on himself and his health. To me it feels like he was over being with me and didn’t want to be rude but also like maybe he never really wanted a relationship with me and either felt bad for me or too nice to say he didn’t see me as a partner. Idk how I didn’t see the signs before, I am normally sensitive to people not wanting me around or aren’t interested. I guess the part that gets me is the pressure to say I love you, and could that mean he felt pressured to be in a relationship. He said it first but it was very early on in the relationship. I understand this is very wordy and without knowing the relationship 100% hard to say. But why would someone say that while dumping someone they talked about a future with. I want to learn from this as I plan to never do this again but I would like opinions on what I miss or I could have misinterpreted. Thank you if you read this mess.
