If you know someone who could be affected by ongoing unrest: offer them sanctuary.

In light of the businesses and homes potentially being targeted, whether they’re on a circulated list or not: consider offering those who may be in the firing line even a few hours of refuge if you think you can.

If you are a member of a local church or chapel, ask your rev or priest would they consider opening their doors.

There are undoubtedly families or individuals locally who would be relieved to have someone reach out a hand and offer shelter if only for a few hours. I’m sure those who lost their homes last night would have preferred to be given a warm seat or bed, rather than have to stand and watch all they have worked for go up in smoke from the outside, or while sitting in a meat wagon.

I don’t imagine police have the numbers to be waiting outside select postcodes right now, and I don’t think there is much else anyone could do.
